Practice-Patient Service Representative, SOCPA Lake Forest, PT CHOC Children's 133 reviews - Orange County, CA This position is based in Lake Forest Responsible for greeting, assisting and directing patients and their families through the appointment check in process. Assists with appointment scheduling. Gathers updated medical forms. Interacts with providers, back office staff and billing representatives. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required for superior customer service. Qualifications Required: * Six (6) months clerical or front office experience in a medical practice, clinic or office environment * High school diploma or equivalent * Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to pleasantly handle interruptions in work-tasks due to greeting people and answering multi-phone lines. Excellent interpersonal skills, judgment with the ability to work harmoniously with others Preferred: * Customer service experience * Some post high school education, to include Medical Office courses.
