Case Management Assistant-Care Coordination - PT, Days CHOC Children's Hospital 135 reviews - Orange County, CA Part-time Under the supervision of the Manager, Case Management, the Case Management Assistant is responsible for obtaining, tracking, and documenting insurance verification, benefits, authorizations, and referrals, coordinating clinic schedules and/or Team Centered Care (TCC) with the CCS Nurse Specialist/Case Managers as needed. Provides excellent customer service to providers, families and the community. Qualifications Minimum Required * 2-3 years medical office or hospital business office experience * High School diploma or equivalent experience * Intermediate computer skills including use of e-mail and experience in use of MS Office Word, Excel and Access * Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks autonomously and prioritize work with minimal guidance Preferred/Desired
