    This role is responsible for providing expertise or general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, processing and adjusting claims. This position also authorizes the appropriate payment or refers claims to investigators for further review; conducts data entry and re-work; analyzes and identifies trends and provides reports as necessary.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide expertise or general claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, processing and adjusting claims
    • Authorize appropriate payment or refer claims to investigators for further review
    • Analyze and identify trends and provides reports as necessary
    • Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
    • Provide excellent customer service

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years of previous medical claims processing experience
    • Basic Level Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
    • Basic Level Proficiency with SharePoint or Doc. DNA or IKA
    • Ability to perform and be successful in a high paced environment
    • Highly dependable and able to perform all duties outlined
