Linen Systems is actively seeking dedicated, personable Linen
Distributors/Linen Distribution Technicians for our Atlanta client
location. Our Linen Distributors work from designated hospital locations
and are responsible for managing the distribution of linens throughout
the facility, ensuring that patient needs are met in a timely manner.
Our teams are primarily responsible for the transfer of clean and soiled
linen to designated areas of the hospital in such away as to avoid any
chance of cross contamination. This employee must be outgoing, customer
service oriented, accountable for timeliness, able to work as a member
of team and work independently. Out teams serve as the first point of
contact between Clarus and the hospital. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *
Excellent customer service skills, maintain high customer satisfaction *
Ensure the proper transportation of clean linen in covered carts to
designated areas * Collect soiled linen and transport in covered carts
to and from designated areas * Verify the quantities of linen to be
delivered * Perform linen inventory as required * Resolve client issues
- Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding potential client
issues and linen quality concerns * Build and sustain great customer
relationships by providing customer support and by working with internal
resources to solve customer issues * Uphold quality standards * Help
maintain department in clean, orderly and safe fashion * Adherence to
established procedures and requirements of the institution * As needed,
operates equipment and performs duties related to the successful
operation of the department * Understand, observe and adhere to all
safety procedures and policies * Performs general clerical duties such
as typing, answering phones, etc. * Assist and perform other duties as
assigned QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma or GED * One year of
experience in the health care, manufacturing or similarly situated
industries preferred Solid customer relations and service skills *
Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to work in a
fast paced environment * Ability to stand for long period of times,
walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach for various items * Ability to load
linen carts and operate linen dispensing machines * Able to keep count
and stack individual items into carts * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push a cart that may weigh up to 300 pounds * Willingness
to work evenings, night shifts, weekends and holidays * Must be
comfortable giving and receiving open feedback * Basic computer
knowledge and the willingness to learn new computer applications * Once
