Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job effectively an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner - with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Process all necessary shipping documents, forms and maintains complete files for all shipping paperwork (bills of lading, material requisitions, receivers, Billing and/or Accounts Payable forms).
· Contacts trucking companies to schedule pick-up times and dates
· Perform daily cycle counts and takes physical inventories as needed.
· Cooperates internally with Logistics Manager, Warehouse Attendants and cross-department personnel
· Cost reduction and inventory control
· Cooperates externally with vendors and other Gerresheimer facilities
· Supports QMS and GMS initiatives
· Demonstrates behavior that meets Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety and Good Housekeeping requirements
· Behavioral Attributes; Integrity, Responsibility, Excellence, Innovation and Teamwork
· Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum education, experience, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the job.

· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Experience dealing with customers inside and outside of facility
· Basic computer skills
· Prior experience in a warehouse environment

REQUIREMENTS/COMETENCIES:
· Ability to learn, understand, and apply the Gerresheimer Management System (GMS)
· Must be able to understand, read, speak and write in English
· Mobile Equipment Licenses; forklift, narrow lift, aerial lift and scrubber
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Standing/Walking 1 or more hours per day
· Sitting 7 hours per day
· Lifting 5-20 lbs. with good body mechanics
· Twisting/Bending Occasional
· Endurance Light Energy requirements
· Near Vision Requires accurate (20/20) vision
· Color Vision Requires minimal color discrimination
