Full time - shift: 8:00am-5:00pm - Job Details Job Summary: Delivers
select training to caregivers and creates and maintains a positive and
professional learning environment. Sets the standards and expectations
through example in his/her conduct, work ethic, integrity and character
and is able to motivate trainees through effective training
methodologies in large group, small group and individual classroom
dynamics. Job Responsibilities: - Delivers select training to
caregivers. - Creates and maintains a positive and professional learning
environment. - Sets the standards and expectations through example in
his/her conduct, work ethic, integrity and character. - Able to motivate
trainees through effective training methodologies in large group, small
group and individual classroom dynamics. - Utilizes a variety of
training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and
practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs. -
Monitors, measures and communicates effectiveness of training programs.
- Documents training outcomes and reports issues. - Assesses trainees
abilities, skills and learning outcomes. - Analyzes post training survey
data in order to improve training effectiveness. - Conducts end-user
Epic training in support of enterprise initiatives. - Provides
post-training support to expedite learning transfer to work site. -
Conducts post-training monitoring to ensure learning transfer has
occurred. - Provides on-site go-live support. - Provides on-site
training to fit clients needs. - Modifies training to meet clients
needs. - Administers competency and performance based assessments. -
Addresses the Epic User Hotline and HEAT tickets, provides and tracks
resolution. - Provides training on, and according to, Standard Operating
Procedures and JCAHO standards. - Maintains compliance and HIPAA
standards. - Conducts train-the-trainer. - Other duties as assigned.
Education: - Associates Degree in Education, Health Service
Administration or related field required. - Two years of training
experience may offset the degree requirement. Certifications: - ITIL
Foundation certification required within 6 months of position start date
Complexity of Work: - Strong organizational, verbal and written
communication, and problem-solving skills required. Requires ability to
speak effectively in front of large audiences. - Requires critical
thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal
supervision. - Requires ability to handle stress, difficult situations
and a fast paced environment. - Must be flexible, adaptable and able to
handle change. - Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
and evenings to accommodate customer needs. - Ability to travel to
various Cleveland Clinic facilities and locations within Ohio, Nevada,
Florida and other locations as applicable. - Requires time management
and teamwork skills. - Knowledge of Microsoft products: Excel,
PowerPoint and Word applications preferred. - Good computer aptitude
required. Work Experience: - A minimum of one year of training/teaching
experienced required. - One year health care and/or health insurance
experience preferred. - Previous experience working with adult learners
preferred. Physical Requirements: - Requires ability to stand 80% of the
time. - Requires frequent data entry, sitting, standing and walking. -
Must have normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech. - Must be able
to sit for extended period of time. - Must be able to lift, pull and
transport training materials up to 25 pounds. Personal Protective
Equipment: - Follows standard precautions using personal protective
