Oversees the selection process and initiates the hiring process. Responsibilities: - Ensures that all steps of the recruitment process, including position approval, sourcing, interviewing, testing, education and work verification, criminal background checks, new-hire paperwork and status of all applications, is completed. - Participates in the development, monitoring, and implementation of a Recruitment Plan for areas of responsibility. This includes research, evaluation, and selection of appropriate recruitment methods to ensure the recruitment of highly skilled and qualified staff. Instrumental in the lead and pursuit of Cleveland Clinic diversity goals especially as they relate to Talent Acquisition. - Serves as internal consultant to managers regarding staffing needs and projections. - Promotes and actively participates in organizational recruitment efforts to students/applicants through job fairs, conventions, speaking engagements and related activities. - Coordinates with Talent Acquisition team throughout Recruitment Process. - Other duties as assigned. Education: - Bachelor's degree in a related field. - An additional two years of related experience may offset the degree requirement. Certifications: - None required. Complexity of Work: - Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. - Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Work Experience: - A minimum of two years of experience in HR required. - Preferred experience in the hiring and onboarding process. - Preferred experience sourcing candidates using Boolean searches. Physical Requirements: - Possess full range of body motion including handling and lifting items up to 50 pounds, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. - Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. - Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. - Must be able to travel to various Cleveland Clinic sites and area colleges/universities. - The ability to travel overnight.
