    Join the OptumRx Growth Team as an integral part of our business enablement and sales operations team. Opportunities include supporting communications, competitive intelligence, training initiatives, client management, data and reporting and new business efforts. This team ensures that our front line growth team members have the support to meet and exceed their goals.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (MAY VARY BASED ON PLACEMENT):

    • Support client needs related to ensure seamless operations of their pharmacy benefit
    • Partner with account executives to manage the day-to-day needs of our clients
    • Proactively evaluate client plan benefit performance and facilitate needed adjustments
    • Support the development of meeting agendas and facilitate business meetings with clients
    • Research competitors and develop program and resources to share competitive intelligence in support of the growth team
    • Collaborate with internal partners to support new business pipeline growth strategies
    • Dive into the growth enablement process relative to client opportunity data quality, efficiency and infrastructure within salesforce (CRM system)
    • Coordinate communications between teams involved in projects and/or ongoing client plan administration activities
    • Participate in project meetings and collaborate as part of an internal team
    • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
    • Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
    • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week M-F) during summer 2020
    • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

    • Pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Sales, Health Care, or Public Health
    • Experience in any of the following settings Sales, B2B, Client Facing/Customer Service, Health Care Industry/Health Insurance
    • Experience working with a CRM, data entry, coordinating/facilitating training
