    Client Services sits within the International Employer Growth division of Optum & is comprised of three departments which provide services to our global (outside the US) clients. Two of these departments (Training & Wellness Services) provide onsite & webinar services to our clients. The third department, Customer Relations, provides account support across all departments by providing client reports, coordinating complaint responses, client-focused project leadership/management, coordinating client marketing materials, supporting client meetings internally & externally.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Work within the Client Services group to help support the International Employer Growth Division department
    • The intern will have key roles in cross-functional projects spanning across the business globally, working mostly with associates in the UK, India, Australia as well as the US
    • Responsible for coordinating, managing &/or leading projects related to Client Services
    • Help provide account support across all departments by pulling client reports, coordinating complaint responses and assisting with client marketing materials
    • Assist team members to support/conduct client meetings internally & externally as needed

  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Internal Relations, Healthcare Policy or another related field from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors.
    • Must be able to work 25 hours per week ( Monday- Friday) on site during September 2017- May 2018
    • Must have project management & leadership experience
    • Education or experience in health care, wellness and/or employee assistance services
    • Some experience working with global business partners
    • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
