Job Summary:
The Clinic Nurse collaborates with the health care team to provide patient care while maintaining high quality operations of the facilities. The Clinic Nurse is responsible for the duties of their designated position but, as time allows and when needed, they will assist the other nurses/departments in completing their tasks. This position will support our patients by delivering administrative and patient care services. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Neuromodulation Patient Management:
- Daily coordination with neuromodulation team.
- Manages prospective and current neuromodulation patients. Including education visits, routine device reprogramming visits, post procedure visits, post-surgical visits, and follow up wound care visits.
- Intrathecal Pump Patient Management:
- Daily coordination with intrathecal pump team.
- Manages prospective and current intrathecal pump patients. Including performing ultrasound guided pump refills, education visits, post procedure/surgical visits, and follow up wound care visits.
- Prepares medication and assists with clinic injections.
- Collaborates with clinicians to create disability letters, appeal letters, and legal narrative reports.
- Provides telephone triage to existing and potential patients.
- Collaborates and assists the interdisciplinary care team as needed.
- Carries out standing orders as appropriate.
- Manages and orders clinic medical supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.

- Ability to be detail oriented while multi-tasking and managing priorities.
- Organizational skills with focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow.
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment and efficiently handle daily fluctuation of patient volume.
- Capable to work independently or as part of a team with the ability to be self-motivated.
- Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Skilled to follow oral and written instructions.
- Strong computer skills.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a clinic setting. Travel to satellite clinics on a rotating schedule is required. This position is 100% in-office due to the nature of the responsibilities.

Compensation & Work Schedule:
- Full-time: 40 hours/week.
- Non-Exempt.
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
