JOB DESCRIPTION
The Communication Coordinator is an entry-level position predominantly responsible for supporting the communications team with email and social media writing and content distribution. This position is also responsible for writing compelling marketing content to support strategic marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events and for building that content into a marketing automation tool. Taking complex, technical messages and ideas and distilling them into simple, consumable information for readers of all skill sets is key. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining CSA’s brand voice and ensuring all copy is consistent with this voice by writing, editing, and proofing materials. The content created will primarily be used in email and social media campaigns. Experience working in Pardot or a similar marketing automation tool is highly preferred. The Communication Coordinator reports directly to the Digital Marketing Manager. To be considered for this role, candidates are required to provide writing samples.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Write, edit, and produce social media and email content to support promotional campaigns, events, strategic initiatives, trainings and partnership alliances
Build, schedule and manage email and social media content in Pardot
Adhere to and uphold the CSA brand voice and communication guidelines
Revise copy based on feedback and direction
Review and approve daily LinkedIn Group post requests
Coordinate with the design team for email and social media images
Collaborate with the Events team to provide communications support for all events (both virtual and in-person)
Support the management and scheduling of email and social content calendars through Airtable
Compile and manage social media and email analytics
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or relevant field
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar. Must have a true passion for writing and marketing communications.
Pardot experience is highly preferred

Comfortable simplifying complex technical announcements and products
Email, social media, and LinkedIn writing experience
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
Experience working in Pardot or a similar marketing automation tool

Highly motivated, independent worker able to meet tight deadlines
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Highly skilled in collaboration, problem-solving, time management, quality control, and attention to detail
Ability to work remotely
Portland, Seattle, or Bellingham based preferred
