    Neponset River House is seeking a dedicated, experienced individual to serve as Program Director for our Clubhouse community.

    Our Clubhouses offer adults with a history of mental illness a community built on peer support and rehabilitation principles. These recovery-oriented programs help individuals gain employment and build independent living skills. Clubhouse members and staff work together in all phases of clubhouse operations, including business management and food service. Neponset River House provides a range of services designed to ensure member success in the workplace. Individuals receive employment assistance in job preparation, placement, benefit management and career advancement.

    Neponset River House is an Accredited Clubhouse International Clubhouse and plays an active role in the Massachusetts Clubhouse Coalition. We are strongly committed to sending staff and members to three-week Clubhouse training as well as regional and international conferences. Neponset River House serves approximately 175 members annually with an average daily attendance of 54. We have a comprehensive employment program helping over 70 members each year.

    We are looking for a dynamic individual to provide leadership and day-to-day management of the Clubhouse, working in partnership with Clubhouse members and staff in overseeing all facets of the Clubhouse program operations in a manner consistent with Clubhouse standards and philosophy.

    Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

    Pay Rate: $66,950/salaried

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with adults living with mental illness
    • Clubhouse experience preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree and significant supervisory/management experience preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work as part of a team required
    • Valid driver’s license, regular access to a reliable vehicle, and ability to drive program van required
