PHARMACIST JOB SUMMARY
As a pharmacist you will be responsible for the packaging of medications, in conformance with all laws and rules pertinent to the practice of pharmacy in the state of Arizona.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs the nurse in carrying out administration, dispensing and documentation of medication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned)
Follows all guidelines as established in state pharmacy codes/regulations/guidelines. Maintains pharmacy, including Pharmacist-in-charge responsibilities in required regions.
Documentation Responsible for the storage, repackaging, dispensing and distribution of medication as established within the facility.
Responsible for the ordering, monitoring, and preparation of medication. Prepares take home medication.
Pharmacy and Nursing Staff Development and Competency
Provides training, supervision, direction as requested or needed to nursing staff and medical staff as to the requirements and process of pharmacy as required in assigned state/regions. May assist nursing staff with administering medication to clients as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of employment
Experience in substance abuse rehabilitation or medication assisted treatment pharmacy services is desirable.
