    A Community Outreach Representative (COR) is a community based role aimed at forging community relationships, brand awareness and promoting the DSNP product. The purpose of this position is to develop relationships in the community to increase and open the door to opportunities for qualified, local sales agents. The COR must be licensed to be able to discuss benefits and train in the community as well as make member presentations.   Relationship building with Community Based Organizations (CBO) as well as key Providers and Specialists (PCP, Dental, etc.) that have density in the dual eligibility population, along with strong presentation, verbal, organizational and leadership skills is the key to the success of this position. This position will bring a sense of self-gratification as the CSR will be providing knowledge, resources and help to those in our community who are in need and offering a more meaningful health care experience. This will be done by identifying and nurturing relationships in the community as a “UnitedHealthcare relationship”. Holding compliant formal and informal events in a niche market to open the door for brand awareness, member and community education and facilitate the opportunities for qualified, local sales agents to engage will be a focus.   COR’s will partner with the community outreach team, CHOICES Member Advocate team, local CBO’s and Provider Advocate team to ensure the DSNP product is advertised in the community and open marketing opportunities. COR’s have a required monthly event goal and will be compensated with a base salary with an RRP incentive plan, along with clear performance management expectations. The COR will track all activities, events, leads and lead progress, sales, appointments, contacts and relationship progress daily through internal systems. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED or higher 2+ years of Healthcare Industry experience 2+ years of Marketing or Community Relations experience 2+ years of experience in a deadline driven environment 2+ years of experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables  2+ years proven experience influencing and collaborating with others Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and/or partner sites within a designated area for both planned and unplanned visits. 50% travel (events) mainly same day trips Must be able to travel within territory and work evenings & weekends, when required.  Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) Marketing rules and regulations Previous Healthcare Industry experience Careers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
