The Staff Accountant/Analyst, will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of financial data related to the operations of the agency. Will report on financial findings to Agency and Program Management, act as a liaison between the Business Office and Programs, and will participate in budget and program meetings where analysis will be needed. Experience and Skills: * A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 3 years of staff accounting experience. * 3 years of Accounting and financial reporting * Ability to communicate with all levels of employees. * Demonstrated experience with Financial Analysis. * Comprehensive knowledge on the theory and practices of accounting and auditing. * Proficiency in maintaining and checking financial records and preparing detailed reports. * Good understanding of laws and regulations governing maintenance of financial records. * Ability to examine current accounting procedures and install revised accounting procedures when necessary. * Knowledge of multi-funded, not-for-profit organizational structure and process, coupled with knowledge of private sector business procedures New York State Human Rights Law and Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Law prohibit discrimination of candidates for employment based on race, creed, religion, color, national origin, sex, marital status, age, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, arrest record, domestic violence victim status, genetic predisposition, or other protected status.
