Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities, hospice care, and home care requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in their daily activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient observation and adherence to care plans, along with a deep understanding of HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Observe and report any changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to healthcare professionals.
• Lift and transfer clients safely as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to coordinate care effectively.
• Stay informed about first aid procedures and emergency protocols to respond appropriately to crisis situations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a caregiving role is preferred.
• Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality is maintained at all time
• Strong observational skills for monitoring clients' health and emotional well-being.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as necessary while maintaining safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
