    The Customer Development Team within Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc. is a dynamic, fast-paced team that partners with key Food, Drug, Mass Merchandiser and Specialty Retailers across the country to identify and execute business-building opportunities. The Sales Team is responsible for delivering the company forecast, executing strategic business plans and launching new and innovative products to our retail partners. In addition, the Sales Team is dedicated to Category Management and Shopper Marketing initiatives, including providing data analysis to uncover business drivers and trends, managing promotional display programs, executing retail & customer initiatives and collaborating on strategic business building opportunities.

     

    The Customer Development Internship Program within Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc. offers high-caliber students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practical business settings during a 10 – 12-week assignment from June to August 2018. 

     

    As a Sales/Customer Development Intern, you will be incorporated into the day-to-day business practices of the Sales organization through project responsibility focused on: analyzing data to understand business drivers and trends, assisting with the management of promotional display programs, reporting and evaluating monthly sales versus forecast activity, supporting the new item launch process, supporting Sales Operations tools, executing retail and consumer initiatives and additional projects that support our key business initiatives.  The Internship Program also offers a robust learning curriculum that is comprised of both on-the-job training and formal learning to enhance professional skills development.

  • Qualifications
    • Enrollment at an accredited college/university and actively pursuing at least a Bachelor’s Degree is required.  
    • Actively pursuing a Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Business academic major is preferred. 
    • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 (based on 4.0 scale) is preferred. 
    • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Internship is required. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.  
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities concurrently is required.   
    • Ability to provide own transportation to/from work location is required.  
    • Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is preferred. 
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States, without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future is required.
