    Job Description

    THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION - AVAILABLE TO CANDIDATES IN CA, AZ, TX, OR FL. HOME OFFICE IS BASED IN STOCKTON, CA.

    Crestwood Behavioral Health Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our Corporate Team. In this role you will be providing customer support to our facility business office staff with all payroll and benefits related administration, processing, reconciliations, and inquiries.

    The ideal candidate must have the following payroll experience:

    Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Time & Attendance administration. Minimum of 4 years processing corporate payroll

    • Payroll preview, balancing, analysis, confirming and reporting.
    • Monitor payroll production schedule and ensure timely payroll submission to ADP Workforce Now
    • Experience converting to Bi-weekly payroll a plus!

    The ideal candidate will also possess the following experience and qualifications:

    • Knowledge of payroll taxation, pre-tax and post-tax deductions, and cafeteria 125 plans.
    • Review and process manual checks and final check requests, ensuring accuracy of check calculations and back-up documents to support requests.
    • Multi-state knowledge and experience with payroll processing and taxation is desired.
    • Perform analysis, reconciliation, and audits of timekeeping, payroll, and benefits data.
    • Processing and monitoring of wage garnishments, tax liens, child support orders, and required notifications.
    • Processing of National Medical Support Orders and required notifications.
    • Ensuring accuracy of all new hire data and changes processed via Workforce Now system.
    • Benefits administration to include processing of enrollments, life events, work events, and COBRA events. Knowledge of COBRA regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Ensure timely processing of leaves of absence and terminations in Workforce Now system
    • Ensure benefit deductions are set-up and deducting accurately for all plan enrollments.
    • Knowledge of 401K withholding.
    • Processing of employment verifications, unemployment claims, disability claims, and other payroll or benefits related documents.
    • Ability to multi-task, pivot, and be flexible in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, accounting, math, writing, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are required to be successful in this role.
