    OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION:  Possess a strong analytical and investigative skill to support multiple corporations/cost centers with payroll, health benefits, and general ledger processes by analyzing, validating accuracy, reconciling and maintaining control of pay data from system input, to general ledger, through reporting and audit. Maintain control of cash requirements to satisfy obligations. Assist in budget projections, using highly complex formulas for forecasting.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Ensures accurate and timely processing OF PAY DATA by:

    • Validating semi-monthly ADP WFN pay data for accuracy
    • Developing and maintaining conditional reporting with defined criteria related to wage and hour disparities
    • Timely assessment for reasonableness and confirmation of appropriateness with management

    Ensures accurate and timely GENERAL LEDGER posting and reconciliation by:

    • Validating semi-monthly ADP output files for accuracy
    • Reviewing, investigating, and correcting errors and inconsistencies in entries, documents, and reports for appropriate allocation of expense
    • Timely reconciliation of general ledger payroll accounts, including posting of net, wages and hours
    • Investigate material variances from the budget and report findings
    • Develop and maintain equivalents between ADP subledgers and Great Plains/Intacct general ledger accounts, including net, wages and hours
    • Respond timely to questions and issues

    Ensures accurate and timely generation of PAYROLL TAX INFORMATION and reporting to Fed/State/Other agencies for multiple corporations and cost centers by:

    • Developing reports, with controls, to validate and reconcile pay detail, by cost center, to quarterly and annual required reporting's
    • Reviewing, investigating, and correcting errors and inconsistencies with data to reports to be filed to government agencies, including W2's

    Ensures accurate and timely WORKERS COMP posting and compilation for month and yearend true up by:

    • Validating assignment of worker's comp classifications and posting of monthly expense
    • Categoric compilation of wages, summarized by month, with annual totals, validating consistency with payroll tax summary records and general ledger

    Calculate and facilitate accurate TRANSFER OF FUNDS to satisfy payroll disbursement requirements by:

    • Maintaining control totals for net and other withholdings
    • Summarizing detail by corporation, by facility
