Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Human Resources, the HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER supports the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the following major areas:

• Employee relations
• Investigations, complaints, and employment disputes
• Payroll administration
• Safety program
• Compliance with labor laws
• Accreditation surveys related to Human Resources

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have a bachelor's degree.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources.
3. Coaching – able to motivate and suggest new behavior.
4. Excellent verbal and written skills; the ability to communicate complex information in a manner that is easy to understand for laypersons.
5. Critical thinking – able to identify an issue, explore and evaluate relevant information; and integrate results into the development of a resolution.
6. Cultural Competence and adaptation – demonstrate commitment to creating an inclusive open environment.
7. Metrics & Analysis – management, utilization and analysis of information.
8. A basic understanding of laws applicable to California employers, including but not limited to wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, and protected absences.

SALARY RANGE: $75,000 TO $90,000
