In this Post-Doctoral fellowship, you will investigate the impact of cell surface glycosylation on the binding kinetics of biologic therapeutics and on the development of cancer cell resistance. Key questions that can be addressed during this fellowship include: 1) How is the efficacy of different biologic therapeutics affected by the glycosylation patterns and glycocalyx composition of tumor cells? and 2) What influence does the cancer cell glycocalyx have on immune cell behavior?
