POSITION SUMMARY

The Data Engineering and Analytics team is looking for a co-op to help expand the existing suite of features & tools for web analytics applications. These tools deliver insights from our massive repositories of data to stakeholders across the company. This role will support the implementation of ETL pipelines to support extracting study data directly from patient electronic health records (EHR) to accelerate our clinical studies and clinical research programs and the development of new interfaces to deliver insights to engineers and researchers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement design requirements into testable software units
• Implement UI requirements to display device/patient data
• Transform and load de-identified patient data from EMR/EHR systems in electronic data capture (EDC) platforms
• Perform unit testing and security testing activities
• Participate in design and code reviews

REQUIREMENTS

• Student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science/Engineering, Engineering or similar field.
• Knowledge of programming languages (C#, Python, or Elixir preferred)
• Knowledge of web-programming frameworks (Angular or Vue preferred)
• Knowledge of databases (SQL) strongly preferred
