Accounting Internship Datis - Tampa, FL Full-time, Internship Are you currently seeking an opportunity within an exhilarating and rewarding technology company? As an Accounting Intern at DATIS, you will gain experience in payroll processing and multi-state employer payroll tax filings. Job Duties: * Payroll processing * Resolving tax notices * Researching payroll and tax issues * Communicating with tax agencies * Working with the Customer Enablement team to answer clients questions as needed * Creating and filing amended returns related to tax notices or customer requests * Communicate with customers about tax notices, amended returns, payroll & tax issues * Log and maintain the tax notice database * Daily banking, deposit mailings, tax return mailings, tax filing, POA creation and miscellaneous projects * New customer onboarding and implementation setup and reconciliation * Keep up-to-date on latest developments as they affect payroll regulations and policies, taxing jurisdictions rate changes and tax table maintenance Required Experience: * Up to 1 year applicable work experience * Advanced Excel Skills * Highest attention to detail and accuracy * Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills * The highest level of integrity * Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office) * Working toward 4-year College degree required Please apply only if the following D-E-L-I-G-H-T values resonate with your own: * Delight customers * Elect and spread positivity * Lead with solutions and embrace change * Increase communication with transparency * Go the extra mile with passion * Hold oneself accountable * Treasure culture and freedom DATIS HR Cloud, Inc. is a fast-growing software company providing HR and Payroll software to the health and human services industry.
