Job Description Job Title: Bilingual Clinical Therapist City: La Verne / State: California Job Description $3,000 Signing Incentive After Three Months of Employment! This position is responsible for the development of an integrated treatment plan and leadership to ensure implementation of services and supports to the child and their family in Full Service Partnership Program. This position is also responsible for working with his/her supervisor to ensure the agency complies with the service tasks timelines and requirements in the Statement of Work. This position will function as the Single Fixed Point of Responsibility and thus coordinates treatment with all stakeholders involved in the treatment process of each youth and family on his/her caseload and is required to maintain appropriate clinical documentation. The maximum caseload will be 15. Job duties include but are not limited to: 1.Completes initial assessments and care plans for each youth on his/her caseload within 30 days from assignment. 2.Responsible for developing and coordinating family centered treatment teams to meet the individualized needs of the youth and family being served. 3.Maintains a minimum productivity level of at least 80 hours a month billable to Los Angeles Department of Mental Health. 4.Completes needed program outcome measures within required timeframes and when Key Event Changes happen. 5.Provides most of his/her services in the home/community. 6.Assists with transportation needs as necessary. 7.Provide outreach services as necessary to the youth and family and he/she may assist with linking family members to needed services in the community. 8.Maintain appropriate documentation for all services provided and contacts made (including clinical progress notes for all services provided. 9.Turns in a daily service log for clinical activities and attached progress notes no later than 48 hours after service is provided. 10.Participate in and, as requested, provide training for treatment team members. 11.Attend, participate, and as needed assists in scheduling collaborative treatment team interdisciplinary meetings such as IEPs and Student Success Team meetings, treatment conferences with social workers/probation officers. 12.Maintain regular contact with all staff and community persons involved in the treatment plans, (i.e. DCFS workers, DMH, probation officer, community providers, school personnel and mental health professionals, etc.). 13.Must be able to participate in 24 hour on-call program/crisis intervention services for youth and families enrolled in programs. 14.Attend weekly clinical meetings and any other designated staff meetings/trainings. 15.Attend regular supervision sessions with clinical supervisor/program manager. Job Responsibilities Job Requirements Must be bilingual English/Spanish. A Masters degree in social work or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning is required. A license or ability to become licensed is required. Must maintain license or registration in good standing at all times. Have valid drivers license and good driving record. It is expected that an unlicensed therapist will meet all requirements to become licensed and submit the required licensing paperwork to the respective board within two years of the hire date and/or a transferring staff falls under the grandfather clause in the Licensing Policy. Driving is required. Will participate in on-call after-hours system. Related Experience: Prior experience working with at-risk youth in a therapeutic setting with at least one year in either a residential facility and/or in an intensive services program is preferred. Must be able to relate well with others and have the ability to handle crisis situations. Knowledgeable of DMH paperwork preferred.
