Job Description
DePuy Synthes' Sales Training Representative (STR) Program is a 12-month program designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to begin a successful sales career in the orthopaedic MedTech industry. We are recruiting for Sales Training Representatives to join our January and June 2023 classes.
Based out of a headquarters location, STRs will have the opportunity to learn from top sales trainers, build connections with multiple cross-functional partners, and provide direct sales support to DePuy Synthes' customers. As a member of the Commercial Education team and extension of the field sales organization, STRs will execute training programs, facilitate labs, support sales account conversions, and participate in other ongoing customer engagement activities. Pivotal to success will be the ability to demonstrate the clinical and business acumen necessary to meet the needs of our customers.
After successfully completing the STR Program with demonstrated proficiency, STRs will continue in an associate level field-based sales role. The majority of time in the sales role will be spent the hospital setting and surgeon offices. Responsibilities include coverage of surgical cases in the operating room (OR), coordination of equipment required for cases, and logistics related to hospital billing and replenishment.
