    As a part of the Information Security & Risk Management group, the DevSecOps Intern is responsible for supporting key initiatives related to secure application development, including Static Application Security Testing, Software Composition Analysis, Security Training, and Metrics.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in enabling the integration and automation of security tools in CI CD pipelines.
    • Leverage APIs to generate metrics for scanning tools and security training.
    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for application security testing tools, such as Checkmarx CxSAST, Jfrog Xray, and BlackDuck.
    • Identify / develop mechanisms to improve security related to application development (e.g., identifying hard-coded credentials, etc.)
  • Qualifications

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor's degree required; must be in enrolled in a Master’s degree program.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    Required:

    • Knowledge of modern application development.
    • Ability to work in a results and performance driven environment where you will be challenged to deliver quality results within the agreed timeframe.
    • Highly motivated with the willingness to take ownership/responsibility for their work and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Good communication skills, able to network and influence at all levels of the organization, cross sector, cross-function and globally required.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with programing languages (e.g., Python, Groovy, Java, C#, etc.).
    • Knowledge of secure development practices.
    • Knowledge of containers.
    • Experience with security tools (e.g., Checkmarx, Veracode, BlackDuck, JFrog Xray, etc.).
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Kibana).
