    Discovery Senior Living is looking for an Interior Designer to join our home office team in Bonita Springs, FL.

    ** POSITION SUMMARY**

    Discovery Design Concepts is seeking designers who are looking to advance their career in a creative environment dedicated to elevating the lifestyles of Senior Living Community residents through design.

    The ideal candidate has the desire to become an integral member of our interior design team and work in tandem with the Director on all facets of design.

    ** RESPONSIBILITIES**

    • Collaborate with Discovery Senior Living team to team to determine design preferences, purpose and function of spaces, branding, budget, and other factors, which affect the design of multi-family senior living environments.
    • Work on procurement for all FF&E for multiple projects includes finish selections and FF&E selections
    • Placing orders and tracking all orders for all furniture and other related items
    • Work on master schedule tracking order deliveries and schedule installations of larger and smaller projects at communities
    • Oversee the installations at the communities
    • Documentation of all damages and reorders after installation of projects
    • Manage and maintain budgets/reconciliation of budgets for each project
    • Assist Designer in creating/updating spreadsheets documenting design selections
    • Work with CAD system on plan updating and furniture plans for all orders
    • Assist Designers in developing renderings and story boards for communities
    • Work on special projects (for example, models, unit turns, guest suites)
    • Additional duties/projects as assigned

    ** QUALIFICATIONS**

    • 3-5 years’ experience
    • Professional degree in interior design or architecture
    • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity Sketchup
    • Must possess fluent computer skills in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft based software.
    • Understand basic flow chart schedules, both creating and reading them.
    • Ability to space plan to layout furniture
    • Must understand basic accounting systems for coding purchases
    • Attention to detail for design standards and purchasing/coding requirements
