    The Risk Adjustment (RA) Coding Analyst reports to the Supervisor of Risk Adjustment (RA).  The RA Coding Analyst will manage all Health Plan Incentive Programs throughout the year. The RA Coding Analyst will assist with identifying gaps in submissions, ensuring correct data quality issues and areas of coding improvements for CMS Risk Adjustment and Quality Incentive programs. The RA Coding Analyst will assist with data collection for CMS Sweeps.

    Required Experience

     

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Two years Risk Adjustment /HCC Methodology experience required with emphasis in a managed care environment, medical group, or health plan
    • Three years’ experience performing medical group related billing, claims, medical assisting or medical records review and data abstraction skills
    • Candidate must be knowledgeable and experienced with ICD-10 and CPT coding
    • CPC – Certified Professional Coder
    • CRC – Certified Risk Adjustment Coder
    • Computer keyboarding is required
