The Strategic Sourcing Packaging Co-op supports the External Manufacturing Strategic Sourcing Group. Day to day responsibilities include updating/maintaining the Approved Supplier List (ASL), communicating with the suppliers to obtain necessary documentation (i.e. signed specification concurrence memos), and obtaining and processing BSE/TSE documentation. The Strategic Sourcing Packaging Co-op also creates purchase orders as needed, distributes Packaging Master Files and Receipt Acknowledgement forms for primary internal components, and provides support and assistance on various projects that arise. This role also works closely with the Consumer Supplier Quality team to ensure they are following all rules and regulations in order to consistently meet expectations and compliance, along with the External Manufacturing team to ensure they are receiving all necessary documentation for all McNeil managed materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Updating/Maintaining the Approved Supplier List
• Communicating with the suppliers in order to receive signed concurrence on all McNeil managed specifications
• Ensuring McNeil has compliant documentation of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy/Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE/TSE) from suppliers for all primary components
• Supporting External Manufacturing and Consumer Supplier Quality

• Currently enrolled in a full-time degree seeking program at Drexel University
• Class standing of a Sophomore of above
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to support cross-functional, cross-company projects
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
• Analytical/technical aptitude and competence
• PC literacy
