Develop, build, and implement Learning Management System (LMS) strategies in support of PRMOs evolving business and operational needs. Manage daily processes related to organizational LMS and policies related to internal business processes to ensure entity developmental / educational data accuracy and integrity. Job Responsibilities Learning Systems Administration * Manage the content served through the Learning Management System (LMS) including monitoring course content, course publication process and building LMS structures in support of course load procedures. * Develop, design and implement procedures and operating policies for LMS use. Train Learning Center colleagues, leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), meeting facilitators, etc., in best practices LMS methodology and procedures. * Maintain accuracy of complex LMS processes such as consistent application of course descriptions, curricula configurations, course or class changes and instructor assignments. * Partner with departmental and enterprise course owners to forecast placement of training offerings six to twelve months in advance. Manage the catalog of online, blended, and other learning resources. Create, implement, and maintain monthly calendar for instructorled and elearning courses. * Liaise and collaborate with Duke Health Technology Solutions (DHTS) Enterprise LMS Administrator to communicate system issues and requirements, identify support patterns that represent systemic issues. Collaborate and coordinate efforts to configure, test and implement new LMS functionality in support of Learning Center, PRMOwide, and Health Systemwide business needs. Assignment of Learning * Assign and communicate new hire onboarding curricula specific to revenue cycle job functions within Duke Health enterprise in alignment with new hire effective dates. Administer and maintain user roles to include permissions assignment of profiles. Serve as initial point of contact for questions concerning departmental training programs and registration process. * Maintain liaison and collaboration with key organizational leaders and SMEs to anticipate learning systems delivery needs. Create systems design proposals to meet program needs. * Serve as gateway for all revenue cycle learning and intervention inquiries via all communication sources. Organizational Event Support * Anticipate and provide guidance on program protocol, procedures, and operating polices for the management of facility reservation systems and requests for Learning Center space. Arrange for computing resources, to include mobile classroom configuration. * Coordinate and maintain the Learning Center master schedule for events and training sessions. * Partner with program leaders to develop organizational or departmental resource plans in support of defined learning program objectives. * Collaborate in the planning and execution of organizational events. Enterprise Learning & Compliance Reporting * Partner with Learning Center colleagues to identify required internal and external data sources, (such as Duke LMS Course and Curriculum Completion Data, SAP, HR New Hire Spreadsheet, etc.), to meet organizational and departmental reporting requests. Build reporting solutions in support of departmental process improvement and efficiencies. * Partner in the development and administration of the LMS, training records, and associated templates to ensure staff training documentation is complete. * Generate and distribute LMS reports to Learning Center colleagues and meeting facilitators. Troubleshoot system operational issues and escalate as appropriate * Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and make adjustments to audiovisual equipment to include projection, video equipment, audio equipment, and television equipment. * Monitor usage and performance of the LMS. Performs analysis and troubleshooting to identify potential resolutions for learning applications and / or learner hardware issues. * Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work across multiple teams. Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities during high volumes. Proven knowledge, understanding and operation of Learning Management Systems (LMS) strongly preferred. Ability to navigate and troubleshoot A/V systems. Requires standing for periods of time, walking, pushing and full range of motion.
