    The E.H.R Developer/Analyst role is to analyze, fix or enhance the NextGen application in a timely and accurate fashion. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements, as well as generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues and provide status reports where required.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ability to perform software and system testing procedures, bug verification, release testing, and beta support
    • Prepares documentation required of the product
    • Resolves customer complaints with application, and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements
    • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues
    • Knowledge of developing and deploying enterprise applications using current SDLC processes
    • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
    • Coordinate and perform in-depth testing, including enduser reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post implementation support

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
    • 1+ year Working knowledge of SQL
    • Solid knowledge of all of the NextGen application (EMR,EPM, ICS) and NextGen utilities, i.e. Mass Update Utility, Medication Update Utility, Contract Utility or equivalent EMR configuration and development experience

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Working knowledge of Template Editor
    • Working knowledge of Document Builder
    • Familiarity with the healthcare industry
    • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
    • Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle
    • Hands on experience working in integrated development environments
