Human Resources Intern (EBCAP0439) Human Resources Intern 20 hours per week - May to September 2018 - $12 per hour East Bay Community Action Program, a $30 plus million, 500 Employee, multi-site, full service integrated care non-profit Agency is seeking a Human Resource (HR) Intern at our location in East Providence, RI. The HR Intern will be responsible for providing support to the Human Resource Department that will apply to future career opportunities within the HR field. The Human Resources Intern will support the organization in several of the following ways: * Gain exposure to a major HR process and the strategic role HR plays * Assist with HR process by providing analysis and employee support * Analyze reports/trends and create custom reports based on business need * Assist VP and Director with a variety of special projects and deliverables for the Organization Accountabilities in this role: * Ability to prioritize requests effectively and understand importance and meet deadlines * Must be willing to adapt to shifting requirements or priorities * Strong quality and results orientation with a proactive approach * Ability to interact effectively at all levels * Ability to work independently with moderate level of direction * Attention to detail * Handles projects from start to finish with moderate supervision Qualifications: * 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources studies * Proficient with MS Office applications and web based tools * Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships * Innovative problem solver who is solutions oriented * Detail oriented with excellent follow through and communication skills * Ability to handle changing workload and multiple tasks, flexibility is important If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Debbie L.
