    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY

    Receives shipments, packages & labels all outbound shipments in a timely manner. Cleans, organizes and maintains warehouse, and perform other duties, as assigned. 

     

    Warehouse shop:

    • Manages warehouse and inventory;
    • Maintains a clean and organized work area, shop, and warehouse. Cleans, tags, covers and routes incoming equipment to appropriate area in warehouse. Shelves are to be stocked neatly, and equipment is to be placed in its appropriate areas. Floors are to be swept and cardboard boxes broken down and disposed of at end of each day.
    • Coordinates demo/loan equipment for sales team as needed.
    • Shipments received: opens, tags, pre-preps & forwards equipment/supplies to appropriate holding area. Matches packing slips to original purchase orders. Receives each line on the purchase order within the computer system. If shipment container is damaged: note condition on freight company’s bill of lading. Check quantity and condition of materials received.
    • Packages, labels and ships all outbound shipments within 72 business hours. Completes a Return form when shipping a Return Authorization.

    Assembly of equipment: 

    • Prepares according to specification of order.
    • Ability to problem solve when questions arise while preforming assembly between you, the ATP and Manufacturer tech service dept.
    • Completes wheelchair Inspection form.
    • Attaches delivery folder to include Delivery Receipt and Delivery Checklist.
    • Performs in shop repairs as needed for walk in customers.

    Must be able to perform Home Deliveries when needed.

    Required Skills

    QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

    • Two years’ experience in mechanical assembly and/or repair of mechanical or electronic devices.

    • Familiar with both hand and shop tools.

    • Detailed orientated.

    • Interpersonal skills and problem resolution abilities.

    • Customer service skills and knowledge of order process.

    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

    • Ability to use the computer.

    • Requires pushing, pulling, lifting and uncrating of equipment

    • Ability to use hand truck and lift

    • Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision commensurate with compliance standards. Able to use technology to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Solid written and verbal communication, listening, organization and priority setting skills.

    • Ability to perform job with integrity and values consistent with the Numotion Mission.

    • Must have valid driver’s license and meet the company standard level driving record
