Job Description
This position is responsible for preparing, coordinating and training for department associates and participants/families based on the principles and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Provides and coordinates on-going competency-based staff training. Attends staff meetings, inservices, trainings, and other meetings as requested. Facilitates and measures training programs. Consults with Director of Training and Quality to assess professional development training; identify performance deficiencies. Ensure training content meets program goals. In collaboration with Director of Training and Quality, recommends, develops, and oversees updates to existing training materials for continuous improvement of course and program content. Partners with department heads to identify areas of concern and areas for improvement to ensure trainings are effective. Maintains a training system and records. Monitors annual trainings to ensure department associates maintain certifications; includes providing supervisors with timely notifications of certificate expiration.
