Responsibilities This internship will be both educational and practical with responsibility for completing a full market analysis, conducting research and contacting public officials to gather information that will help us complete strategic organizational projects. The position will work closely with our senior leaders, including the CEO and COO. This position offers a flexible schedule of 8-10 hours per week. Essential job responsibilities include: Complete ad hoc research projects to support our Strategic Plans. Projects should be well-thought out, comprehensive and presented in an easy to understand manner.Research partner companies best practices and services. Utilize the research to present recommendations to leadership based on established criteria (e.g. applicability, scope, cost, future impact or potential).Provide research support for government agency projects/contracts. Qualifications Research Project Management InternMinimum Required Qualifications: Senior level undergraduate with a focus on public policy, political science or businessAbility to take complex information and present it in an easy to understand format (verbal, written, and group presentation)High level of initiative that results in the ability to work independently and meet deadlinesProfessional communication skills that encourage collaborationAbility to anticipate the next step in a project, or the next question to be answeredAbility to represent Ecumen in a professional and positive manner to a variety of audiencesExperience with word processing and spreadsheet/charting programs Preferred Qualifications: Graduate level student with a focus on public policy, political science or business Equal Opportunity Employer Ecumen is an equal opportunity employer.
