As the ECOMMERCE PRODUCT MANAGER, you will direct and influence Safco's product roadmap by working to manage and develop consumer office products for our eCommerce Sales Channel. You will support business objectives by efficiently and effectively managing assigned products through their entire lifecycle with a specific focus on Ready to Assemble (RTA) and eCommerce products.

This full-time position reports directly to the PRODUCT BUSINESS LEADER and will be located at Safco’s headquarters in New Hope, Minnesota.

Required Skills

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Identifying unmet customer needs and growth opportunities
• Lead new product development projects, ensuring that customer requirements are met, and that schedule and financial targets are achieved
• Work with Marketing and eCommerce team members to effectively launch new products strongly and successfully while providing clear direction regarding other day-to-day product management tasks
• Develop, present, and execute an annual multi-generation product plan for assigned products.
• Deliver against annual net sales, retail sales, and inventory goals for product line(s).
• Collaborate with engineering and test functions to ensure appropriate design criteria and test plan for quality and lowest possible warranty.
• Coordinate Voice of the Customer (VOC) activities and other market research required to fully understand customer requirements and drive decisions for assigned product line(s).
• Plan and deliver product sales training, including participation in live training events and recorded product webinars.
• Monitor competitive product activity, and develop competitive product comparisons
• Contribute and participate in the long-term product planning process
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or another related field. MBA a plus.
• 8+ years of experience within a Product Management role
• Project management experience
• Change agent and related experience
• Strong communication skills to rally teams towards a vision and plan
• Ability to communicate very technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to influence teams not directly under your authority
• Stellar organizational skills to keep all teams on track
