The CORRUGATOR is the heart of a box plant. If you like working at a fast pace, with high pressure and part of a team, Corrugator Operator is the job for you. We are looking for energetic, people to join LIBERTY PACKAGING TWIN CITIES on our team! The daily hours vary slightly weekdays and are normally between 40 – 60 hours per week; plus some weekend work. After you qualify for all 6 steps to be an Operator, you will be working on the highest paying machine in the plant.

This position is located in Golden Valley, MN.  

2nd shift  that works 3pm - 2am regularly with some later start times.

PAY: STARTING AT $22 PLUS/HOUR WITH BUILT IN PAY INCREASES AND BENEFITS. THIS STARTING POSITION OFFERS GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH AND PROMOTION THROUGHOUT OUR PLANT!

Required Skills

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Setup and Operate machinery, including hanging/splicing rolls of paper, stacking materials and tagging loads for destination
• Ensure product quality by conducting visual and tool measurement inspections, monitoring and adjusting machine output settings, and conducting basic quality control and quality assurance tests
• Generate and maintain operational and quality records and reports
• Drive quality standards and operational efficiencies, offering recommendations for improvements, as you contribute directly to our plant operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience (preferably within a manufacturing environment) with a good attendance track record
• Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions such as machine-related operations, capabilities, light maintenance and safety requirements
• Ability to withstand continuous standing; climb stairs; pushing, pulling and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs; bending and/or stooping
• Ability to work in hot, humid conditions year round
• Ability to  communicate verbally via radio with the team
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
