  • Responsibilities

    Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company supporting Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers, is searching for an experienced Human Resource Specialist to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD supporting PdM Radars.  The essential functions of the HR Specialist may include the following:

    • Recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, AA/EEO, and special projects.
    • Tracks, maintains, and monitors data and provides necessary reports as needed. 
    • Manages and tracks employee disciplinary action.
    • Assist in tracking workforce training and development
    • Conducts exit interviews and processes required termination paperwork.
    • Conducts regular communication with employees to ensure positive employee relations
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    The top candidates possess the ability to maintain confidentiality, conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner and effectively communicate across multiple groups.  The applicant should feel comfortable researching various topics as assigned, demonstrate the ability to present ideas, and work with a team to find a solution. Flexibility and a willingness to learn is must for this position.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience with HRIS systems (Deltek Talent, Silkroad, Taleo, etc.)
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or in Human Resource Management or additional 4 years of HR work experience.

    • Active Secret Clearance

    • Must possess a strong ability to multi-task within a fast paced environment

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Strong problem solving ability with prioritization and attention to detail

    • Strong organizational and planning skills

     

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years general human resources experience
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or in Human Resource Management or additional 4 years of HR work experience.

    • Active Secret Clearance

    • Must possess a strong ability to multi-task within a fast paced environment

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Strong problem solving ability with prioritization and attention to detail

    • Strong organizational and planning skills
