APU is seeking employees who desire to engage in our thriving culture by cultivating community through professional interactions, demonstrating a posture of lifelong learning, and modeling Christ-like character. Working together, employees at APU commit to establishing a university atmosphere that is pleasing to God and edifying to one another.
Azusa Pacific University received it’s first Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program grant (McNair) in 2023. The McNair program contributes to enhancing the post-baccalaureate success by steering APU students to the appropriate graduate programs and ensuring students are well prepared, academically, personally, and emotionally, for their graduate experiences. This preparation will be through the many diverse activities outlined in the grant award such as research mentorships patterned after APU's existing research programs. The McNair program will nurture and stimulate at least 25 students, providing them with high levels of skills and self confidence to maximize prospects for timely success in graduate programs.
The Project Director is responsible for leadership and daily operation of the project, including planning, development, and implementation of all grant-related efforts. This position is a grant-funded position and subject to terms of the award, which is eligible for renewal.
Review of applications will begin February 19.
