  • Responsibilities

    This position is responsible to provide coordination of care for patients of the hospital/physician practice, including provider issues and managing assigned staff.

    Required Skills

    1. Leadership ability, communications, and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physicians, management, staff, and external agencies/customers.
    2. Demonstrated knowledge in healthcare administration, clinic philosophy and policies and procedures.
    3. Ability to establish and commit to long-range goals/vision after analyzing factual information and assumptions.
    4. Ability to prioritize and efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects within tight timelines.
    5. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential issues.
    6. Ability to develop and supervise group of professionals, decision-makers and project managers.
    7. Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
    8. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
    9. Ability to compose and edit technical or administrative correspondence.

    Required Experience

    WORK EXPERIENCE:

         Three years of experience in a supervisory position with a medical practice.

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

    1. Registered nurse or complete Registered Nurse qualifications within 18 months of hire.
    2. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
    3. Current PALS certification
