  • Responsibilities

    Responsible for grass roots marketing of EPCH service lines; developing and retaining referrals from market physicians into primary service lines; and representing EPCH during professional health care association meetings across the region. The Physician Relations Manager (PRM) will be very familiar with hospital operations, language, and roles within the organization and the community. They will facilitate growing physician relationships, market new service lines, business, and other hospital-specific responsibilities and serve as an extension of hospital leadership in the community.

    Required Skills

    1. Leadership ability, communications, and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physicians, management, staff, and external agencies/customers.
    2. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
    3. Extensive and documented experience in communicating with top executives and physicians.
    4. Ability to establish and commit to long-range goals/vision after analyzing factual information and assumptions.
    5. Highly experienced and competent in management and infrastructure development.
    6. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
    7. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
    8. Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
    9. Possess expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Word, SalesForce.com or other CRM         reporting system.
    10. Must have valid Texas driver’s license.

    Required Experience

     

    Work Experience 

    Three years network development, provider relations and/or comparable experience to include hospital/medical/pharmaceutical sales, physician marketing, physician engagement and physician recruitment.

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. May consider four additional years of related experience in lieu of educational requirement.
