    Pharmacy Intern Division Emory Univ Hosp-Midtown Campus Location Atlanta, GA, 30308 Campus Location US-GA-Atlanta Department EHM Pharmaceutical Services Job Type Temporary Full-Time Job Number 19066 Job Category Business Operations Schedule 8a-4:30p Standard Hours 40 Hours Description Emory Healthcares Hospital Summer Internship is an 11 week, full time program designed to provide young leaders with a comprehensive learning experience at a premier academic health system. Program participants will be exposed to hospital operations and leadership through project based work. Project opportunities will vary and will reflect both the participants learning goals and the needs of the organization. Prior to beginning the internship, the intern will finalize goals, expectations, and evaluation criteria with Executive Leadership and the Internship Program Manager. In addition to project work, candidates will have the opportunity to attend senior leadership meetings, gain exposure to other hospitals within the system, attend lunch and learns with current administrative fellows, and have the opportunity to formally present their project to the hospitals executive leadership team. Program Requirements: The Emory Healthcare Hospital Summer Internship is aimed at highly motivated individuals who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program and are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Additional Details Time Commitment The Emory Hospital Summer Internship Program will begin in the later part of May, and will run through the beginning of August. Students work full-time during the week on their projects and are responsible for meeting their projects respective deadlines throughout the summer. Compensation Compensation will be pre-determined by the Program Co-Manager, Executive Leader and will be based, in part, on the student's current level of education (undergraduate or graduate) and the availability of funds. The current rate is $10/hour for undergraduate students and $15/hour for graduate students. Housing is not offered as part of compensation, but students have chosen to live at Clairmont campus or used Emory resources to search for additional locations.
