    Enterprise Quality Internship Program Overview

    J&J Enterprise Quality (EQ) organization is recruiting interns for Summer 2024. EQ's intern and co-op programs provide a comprehensive learning and professional experience in the global Quality space at one of the world's leading health care companies. Enterprise Quality provides the opportunity to work on initiatives across sectors in both MedTech and Pharmaceuticals.

    Enterprise Quality supports J&J globally in a manner that allows our team members to be involved in multiple initiatives from our own internal analytics & customer facing KPIs, communications & quality operations, to driving adoption and experimenting with the latest digital tools to understand how they can advance our current needs and longer term ambitions. Examples of Enterprise Quality engagements include but are not limited to: identifying emerging technology to support business needs to accelerate our Quality & Compliance strategy thru digital enablement; leading cross sector Quality Management System & Metrics; delivering ongoing process improvements via Supplier Quality Reliability; interpreting evolving regulatory requirements in the digital space to drive proactive solutions for J&J technology from initial implementation and sustained use.

    Intern positions are full-time opportunities expecting to last ~3 months, from mid-May/early June start to mid-August 2024. Our in-person positions are available to rising Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors at various J&J locations throughout the US. Including, but not limited to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, and Florida. We work on a "hybrid model". This means that you will be asked to report on site 3 times a week and can work remotely 2 times a week. If you are selected for an internship position, you will work directly with your manager as your start date approaches to confirm your exact schedule.

    Academic majors for J &J Enterprise Quality include the following :

    • Arts & Sciences: i.e. Biology, Microbiology, Math, English, Communications, etc
    • Engineering: i.e. Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Biomedical
    • Information Systems: i.e. Data Science & Analytics, Computer Science, System administration, etc.

    A successful candidate will be able to do the following:

    • Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the team
    • Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated quality business area
    • Work with key stakeholders to accomplish goals and objectives to support the Enterprise Quality project/program portfolio
    • Students must be able to provide their own transportation to this location and to/from work every day. Note: A stipend will be offered to students that meet the commuting distance eligibility requirements.
    • Adheres to safety environmental policies and procedures and supports department objectives.
    • Develops and maintains Behavioral Standards in line with company standards and policy.

    Qualifications

    • Enrollment in an accredited college/university during the intern period - Required.
    • Actively pursuing at least a Bachelor's Degree in related academic major - Required.
    • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future – Required.
    • Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Internship - Required.
    • Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is preferred
    • A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 is preferred.
