    Position Overview

    The Facilities Technology Specialist role is pivotal in ensuring the effective integration and management of our Building Management System (BMS), optimizing space planning and employee requests through our new Maximo software, and supporting the overall efficiency of our facilities operations. This role must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and possess a solid background in facility management technologies.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Integrate, program, document, and manage the existing Building Management System (BMS).

    • Manage space planning activities to ensure efficient use of facilities.

    • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and servicing of all equipment and systems.

    • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians to ensure successful completion of daily tasks.

    • Manage facilities change control processes to support seamless updates and modifications.

    • Promote and coordinate training initiatives to enhance team capabilities and technical knowledge.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.

    • Manage small lease improvement projects to enhance facility functionality and aesthetics.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation to support compliance and operational clarity.

    • Collaborate with internal departments to support facility-related projects and improvements.

    • Conduct routine inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

    • Contribute to budget planning and scheduling forecasts for future facility needs.

    • Communicate and escalate issues to management to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption.

    Requirements

    • High School diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field.

    • Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and maintenance best practices.

    • Proficient in facility management tools and systems, including Maximo, AutoCAD, and an understanding of OSHA regulations.

    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

    • Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.

    Additional Information:

    • The anticipated base pay for this position is $73,000-$117,300 annually.

    • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

    • Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

    • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

    • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

      • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

      • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

      • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

      • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
