    Job Description

    The Community Development Manager Service Coordinator III is responsible for the administration and management of the Family Service’s community engagement activities. The primary responsibility of this role includes working with staff, stakeholders, and agency’s senior leadership team to advance the agency’s mission through community development opportunities. This position shall exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance as appropriate. Other responsibilities include: implementing and maintaining agency-wide planning, coordinating and oversight for community events; managing volunteer and volunteer related projects; identifying, cultivating, and maintaining strategic relationships with agency program staff and key partners, community collaborators, community programs, and families; the outreach, development, and retention of new external community relationships and resources for long-term, innovative strategic growth and long-term viability of the agency; presenting a positive image of the agency in all community and stakeholder interactions and outreach activities to enhance brand awareness, increase agency capacity and expand the agency donor base, while ensuring that services provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed care lens as defined by the agency.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in education, health, social work, or other related human service field, with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the respective field, required. 2. Master’s degree preferred. 3. Experience in working in a collaborative environment building organizational and stakeholder relationships and planning, required. Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) desirable.
