Human Resources Support Specialist GENERAL SUMMARY: The Human Resources Support Specialist provides administrative support to the Human Resources team in various areas. Will be responsible for processing and reporting on multiple functions, including position control, employee data and performance evaluations. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Maintain salary databases to capture changes, hires & terminations Enter employee status & data changes, and process employee change forms Maintain organization reporting structure through HR system and online organization chart Collaborate with operational & corporate teams to ensure employee locations are updated for new & relocating practices May audit employee changes after entry for accuracy if needed Log & scan employee performance evaluations to document imaging system; regularly report on 90 Day & Annual Evaluation completion Pull scheduled & ad hoc reports of employee data from Excel and/or Access Triage email inboxes, distributes and responds to information requests as necessary Assist with scanning employee files into document imaging system Assists with other HR functions as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of employees, in writing, in person, or by phone Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong organizational skills Detail-oriented Able to maintain confidentiality KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED: Familiarity with managing multiple e-mail inboxes Familiarity with HR systems & document imaging software Familiarity with Microsoft Access Ability to perform vlookups & pivot tables in Excel EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School degree or equivalent EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration or Business 1 year of experience in an office setting Previous HR experience LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: N/A LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED: SHRM-CP or PHR What makes working at Florida Hospital Medical Group special?
