Over the past 25 years, these institutions have worked together to support their mission of adult and pediatric oncology patient care services, research and education. Under the oversight of the Strategy Division, the Strategic Outreach and Affiliate Network Office oversees an array of responsibilities in service to SCCAs goal of improving cancer care, regionally and beyond. We strive to further the reach of the SCCAs expertise and knowledge by developing new relationships through local, regional and international events and conferences as well as maintain and cultivate deeper relationships with our existing partners. As the external ambassadors of the organization we manage a diverse body of work including overseeing the Affiliate Network Program, managing the physician targeted outreach for the organization as well as community outreach for our Community Practice cancer centers in the area. The Digital & Event Specialist will have overall responsibility for planning, implementing, and tracking a variety of digital campaigns designed to increase strategic engagement for SCCA. This position is embedded within SCCAs Strategic Outreach, Network and Continuing Education department and works closely with Service Line Management and Marketing to configure technology platforms that reach key constituents, target potential referral sources, and increase participation in SCCA driven educational events and symposiums. This position requires an innovative, self-driven candidate with strong technical skills, who can research, identify and operationalize digital solutions for a complex and changing oncology landscape. Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Strategic Outreach Director, the Digital & Event Outreach Specialist will support the planning and execution of digital outreach plans that impact SCCA strategic growth & educational initiatives through interactions with external vendors and internal departments at differing levels of complexity.Develop and implement email campaigns reaching key audiences, including oncology and specialty providers, across SCCAs referring physician catchment areas regionally and beyond.Plan and execute digital promotional campaigns including event promotions, CME (continuing medical education) symposium promotions, national conferences, webinars and other online educational platforms.Oversee technical operations for provider and clinical educational activities throughout the year, including webinars and CME events.Lead in the development and implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including researching internal and external solutions, overseeing build, deployment and tracking the system throughout the department.Work closely with key stakeholders in Marketing, Outreach & Education, Service Line, Clinical Operations, and IT to prioritize and plan activities, build and manage strong processes to ensure ongoing collaboration, and deliver project goals within timelines.Support CME & Outreach activities including event venue selection, on-site event registration, scheduling, setup, AV, and presentations.Manage external vendors responsible for providing digital services to the department.Continuously improve digital engagement solutions for outreach, education, events and promotions in service to departmental objectives.Monitor, maintain, and report on digital campaign outcomes.Provide input and influence over annual departmental planning, project prioritization, and budgetingWork with IT and compliance to ensure security and compliance within the digital campaigns, related to privacy of patient and provider information. Qualifications Bachelors or related technology degree with at least 3 years experience in digital OR online marketing & outreach oncology or healthcare setting strongly preferredTechnical experience deploying digital campaigns using content delivery systems intended to engage with target audiencesExperience developing data architecture within customer relationship management systems (CRM)Vendor management experience working in digital, video and constituent management environments (Constant Contact, Cvent, MailChimp, etc.)Previous work with an online format (HTML)Experience working with live video streaming systems for developing online interactive educational webinarsExperience managing web content through word press and related platformsExperience using analytics and measurement tools (google analytics, UTM parameters, CRM reporting)Intrinsically motivated and able to create innovative ideas to achieve results. Recognizes and seizes opportunitiesStrong interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to express oneself clearly and empathetically in interactions with others in all forms of communications requiredAbility to work independently, problem solve, take initiative, set priorities and handle multiple projects efficiently and effectively.
