    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our growing team and help deliver an exceptional experience to our patients. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our patients and play a vital role in ensuring efficient and effective daily operations. This role requires outstanding organizational skills, exceptional communication, and a dedication to providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for managing appointment scheduling, optimizing the clinical schedule, and maintaining smooth patient flow throughout the day.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Greet patients warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.

    · Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments to maintain optimal patient flow and clinic efficiency.

    · Monitor and adjust the day’s schedule to accommodate same-day appointments, emergencies, or changes.

    · Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits for all scheduled patients.

    · Accurately calculate and communicate patient co-pays, deductibles, and treatment plan estimates.

    · Verify patient information, update contact and insurance details, and collect any necessary documentation.

    · Handle incoming calls and emails, answering questions and directing patients appropriately.

    · Maintain scheduling systems and ensure accurate documentation in patient records.

    • Customer service experience

    • Dental office experienced (preferred)

    Working conditions include those typically seen in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
