Duties you will be responsible for:

• Understands and signs off on policies and procedures to ensure proper accreditation from College of American
  Pathologists (CAP).

• Understands proper Fire Department and OSHA guidelines.

• Ensures accurate patient data entry into system.

• Able to perform all functions of specimen processing (grossing, embedding, staining, storage, etc.) without
  direct supervision.

• Maintains working relationships and takes appropriate direction from manager and pathologists.

• Works independently as well as with other team members.

• Ability to maintain sustained concentration and attention to detail.

• Ability to work with frequent interruptions, conflicting demands, and deadlines.

• Multitasks to ensure efficient and accurate completion of daily assignments.

• Completes work in time allotted and seeks other duties when time allows.

• Maintains a positive attitude and treats others with courtesy and professionalism.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• 2+ years' experience in medical practice or similar setting

• Certification/License Desired

• Punctual and Dependable
