The GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network) Intern role will be a part of the GDSN Team, Supply Chain Visibility department within the J&J Supply Chain Strategy & Deployment organization. This role will be responsible for supporting the GDSN capability at J&J. The employee will partner with Customer & Logistics Services (CLS), Supply Chain Data Management (SDCM), Global Packaging, and franchises to ensure effective GDSN capabilities globally. The role will perform and support the operational base business activities for GDSN analysts and engage with for Consumer, Medical Devices and Pharma segments.

Reports to GDSN Global Operations Manager

Accountable for ensuring internal partner and external Customer happiness through effective understanding, and knowledge of the GS1 standards by supporting the operational base business of GDSN, including but not limited to:

• Support analysts covering Consumer, Medical Devices, and Pharma segments to utilize GDSN by responding to onboarding requests, and ongoing business support,
• Aggregate data from multiple internal and external sources,
• Check the data quality and compliance to the GDSN data dictionary,
• Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve the data, the processes with GDSN, and customer happiness via the GS1 standards; building and improving tool kits and documentation.
• Create, run, and maintain GTIN internal and external reports
• Maintain comprehensive metrics holistically, at the customer, segment, and regional level.
• Develop, track, and maintain problem-solving resolutions, lessons learned, and customer feedback.

• A matriculating Sophomore, or Junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Expertise in Excel, Word, SharePoint
• Background in supply chain is helpful.
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional partners to solicit input for metrics
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Willingness to learn.
• Proven ability to synthesize large quantities of process and technical information and make recommendations to multiple interpersonal levels.
• Role will require no travel and will be based in Titusville, NJ
